Mission Statement

In response to God’s call to make disciples and care for the poor, and building on the three pillars of teaching, producing and empowering, The Widows’ Might will make it possible for widows to support themselves and their children through their own efforts in farming, animal husbandry, crafts and marketing.

1.     Helping widows learn skills to survive and to provide for their families.

2.     Improving life chances of vulnerable children by making it unnecessary for widows to send their children to orphanages.

3.     Helping widows and children create a better future for themselves.

4.     Working alongside widows and children, teaching them skills to overcome poverty.
